USB Soundcard not working

Hi, I bought an USB Soundcard, since the raspberry own is fare away from good and there is no space for an Hifi berry. The soundcard “Creative Soundblaster Play Soundkarte extern” from amazon should work out of the box. On my mac it makes no trouble, but I cant find it in Volumio.

If I go to Settings / Playback I can choose between ALSA and 3 blank entries wich are not working.

If I tipe aplay -l I get:

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA], device 0: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA] Subdevices: 7/8 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Subdevice #1: subdevice #1 Subdevice #2: subdevice #2 Subdevice #3: subdevice #3 Subdevice #4: subdevice #4 Subdevice #5: subdevice #5 Subdevice #6: subdevice #6 Subdevice #7: subdevice #7 card 0: ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA], device 1: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 IEC958/HDMI] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

The light on the sound card works. I have no clue why there is no music. I tried different USB ports as well.

Can anybody help me?

It seems that your Card is not supported at all by ALSA (aka in Linux)…
Sorry but this is a no-go…

That’s bad, they sad it works and is tested with Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, Lubuntu, Debian. So I guess I have to buy an other one
