I have reformatted 300GB usb HDD with NTSF. There is no problem. I will do the same work for 2TB USB HDD.

Yes, I formatted 300GB usb hdd as NTFS. VOLUMIO has seen and read all songs. But I can not reformat 2TB USB HDD yet. I think I will able to format it the they after tomorrow after backup.
I wonder it will work or not.
I am happy that the NTFS worked. I think it is a more efficient HD formatting and might be easier to read that FAT32.

Did you manage to read your 2Tb disk with Volumio ???
People give a lot of advices but I haven’t still read about a 2Tb disk really working on V… 
I have formatted 2TB USB disk with NTFS. I recovered from backup to this 2TB disk. Unfortunatly it dos not work. Volumio only transfer less than %1 percent of it.
What can I do? I do not know…
I think I will give up using Volumio.

As a classical music lisener I have some precise needs : composer-Album - work - artist(s) - conductor -band …e tutti quanti 
FB2000 can do that, but if sent to an RPi with its own HDD would be great.
I am about testing Daphile, Rune or anything else that can appear.
Do you know others ?

I can not see any difference between them as quality of sound. But daphile menu very useful and system is robust.
I do not know what is FB2000 and RPi?
I have tested Roon. It is expensive for me.
