Comments: DAC displays PCM 192 kHz with DSD direct setting, and DSD with DSD over PCM (DoP). Apparently that is due to the fact that 851N supports only DSD-over-PCM via USB and DSD direct is not supported

Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M also works brilliant with Volumio for x86, Odroid C4 and N2/N2+. With these 3 versions you also get DSD direct on top, due to a specific usb audio patch, which you will not get for any other linux platform for the foreseeable future

@gkkpch Can you please advice about wich Odroid version would be best for sound quality? And Volumio speed and stability?

Using the supplied USB cable there’s absolutely no noise. Recommended if you want a simple USB DAC only without pre-amp, etc.
