When i use usb dac cm6631a + es9023, i listen constant distortion and cliks when playing audio.
Sound is good with 16bit 44100 volumio resample only. Other formats (48k, 96k, 192k, 16 or 24 bit) -sound is bad. There are distortions when playing Internet radio, music from home NAS server, raspberry sd or usb. If select hdmi or headphones - where is no distortion.
CPU overclocking, using lan or wifi does not affect distortion in any way.
RuneAudio image play good all audio format with this DAC with all sources.
