Unable to install Volumio on RPI 2 Model B

Hi Guys,

I’m getting the following when trying to load volumio for the first time:

I’ve downloaded the zip file containing the image to my mac, unzipped it, created a bootable SD card from it using ApplePi-Baker, inserted the SD card into my Raspberry Pi 2 Model B, a bit of script rolls across the screen, the error reported above after and then nothing.

What am I doing wrong? I can’t find anything about this in the FAQ or in previous forum posts.

I’ve been running the Pi with a Openelec build with no probs, but can’t get that build to output 192khz into my DAC, hence trying Volumio.

From what I see there is no problem…
Volumio is not designed to be use with a screen/ keyboards/ mouse
So for the first configuration, plug a Ethernet wire.
plug and wait boot is finished (about 1min)
From a other device (pc, ipad etc) in the webrowser enter volumio.local or from android the IP address of your device (use a scanner if you don’t know and set a fix ip address it would be very more convenient)
When you access to your device you have to configure it (dac , nas mount etc)
