Switch on/off GPIO buttons plugin v0.8.1

Hello,

I’ve build a Volumio player with a Raspberry Pi4, the 7 inch RP touch screen and the Hifiberry DAC2 pro.
Using a RF usb remote control for controle volume, next track etc.

After installing the GPIO buttons plugin v0.8.1 I’m trying the switch on/of Volumio with a push button normally open/closed using GPIO 17 and a ground pin.

Making en short connection between GPIO 17 and ground does not trigger any event.

lack of substantive knowledge at my side but can someone help me on how to implement it?

I don’t know if gpio pin number 3 can be used with the Hifiberry DAC2 pro, try it then reboot and check if it works now.

Wouldn’t go there…
GPIO2-3 (pins 3 and 5) are used by our for configuration
GPIOs 18-21 (pins 12, 35, 38 and 40) are used for the sound interface

maybe this helps you but i don’t know if your dac is using gpio 17 this for the tone board on usb

Hi dvo! Can you help me with this i bought gpio extension board coz i want to add momentary push button while st400 hat dac is still connected/hook with the raspberry pi 4 b gpio.
Is it working if i hook the button wire to gpio 3 and a GND while dac is connected with the same gpio

I guess you have this DAC:

SUPTRONICS ST400 V2 HAT Module Class D Amplifier / Headphone Amp / DAC PCM5122...

Then no, GPIO03 is already used by the DAC
