Spotify won't work on Raspi PI B

Hi,
I’m running Volumio 1.55 with Spotify on an Odroid-X2 with no problems.
Unfortunately, whatever I try, I can’t get it to run on a Raspberry PI with Volumio 1.55
/etc/spopd.conf has the correct uid/pwd in it, but daemon spopd is not running.
Where else can I check?
It seems the volumio UI system page is not getting the spotify configuration right.
