I am a new user to volumio and I must say it impress me. Congratulations to you all for it’s great sound quality. Currently I am in trial period and checking out the features. I found out something that puzzles me a little and I want to share it with you.
The official spotify plugin which is developed by ‘volumio team’ by default uses volume normalization where the ‘volumio spotify connect 2’ plugin does not. What I mean to say that, on-the-fly volume normalization is not a good thing for hifi systems and it sounds dull.
Either the plugin should not use spotify’s normalization feature or there should be a option to turn it on/off.
