Sonos: "No Cast device found"

Hi, I use Volumio 3 and I have a premium account. As of today, I am also the proud owner of two Sonos speakers. Of course, the audio output should also be on the speakers.

Unfortunately, volumio does not find a cast. When I click on “Cast”, I get the message “No cast device found” :frowning:

The Sonos speakers are registered in the network and have an IP.

Do I need a specific plugin or Tidal access? I have no idea and would be grateful for an answer.

After restarting volumio, the problem was solved :wink:
I get the Sonos speakers displayed as “cast” and wow, it works wonderfully. I’ve been playing with it for three days now and don’t want to miss it. Great :slight_smile:

how does this work? do you have to select or “cast” it everytime you play something, or is it the default output once it is selected? I am thinking about getting some Symfonisk picture frame speakers because of the high WAF ( and they measure reasonable well, especially with PEQ ), but it has to work flawlessly.
