[Solved] Follow the setup guide and nothing happens

Dear Volumio Specialists,

I just bough a raspberry pi b+ and execute the instructions of get started page (volumio.org/get-started), but nothing happens.

Steps:

1 - The raspberry pi b+ is wired connected to the router (linksys WRT54G2).

2 - I erase a sd card (kingston 4g) with sdformatter (“FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT” option to “ON” in the “Options” menu).

3 - Then, I write the volumio image with the Win32DiskImager.exe on the sd card.

4 - Plug the sd card on Raspberry pi b+.

5 - Plug the micro usb / AC.

The raspberry pi is turned on, but I cant find the device on the network.

what im missing?

Thanks in advance,

what power supply are you using?

you searched the device with the help of your router webpage?

if yes, can you connect a monitor to you pi? There should be a Volumio Logo displayed after the pi booted.
if no, try to find the ip with the help of your router´s webpage.

Dear joda2,

Im using a nokia micro usb power suply.

Yes, I search the device with the help of a router page, but i cant find.

I follow your tip, and i connect the device (hdmi) on my tv, but the logo does not appear. :frowning:(((

any idea?

thanks in advance,

more info:

the leds PWD and ACT is on (not blinking)

but, the leds of RJ45 cable is off.

thanks in advance,

I discover something interesting.

the problem must be in the imgage write process.

I formated again he sd card and i copy the noobs files. so, now i can find the device on network

theres other way to write the image file to sd card?

thanks
