[SOLVED] can i install more than one volumio in a LAN

I am using volumio and everything run well.
can i install a second volumio in the same LAN?

Yes, you can, but it is recommended to change the name of the first one.

thank you for your fast answer.
I already tried that ; i renamed the first volumio in volumio-1 . The second volumio i named volumio-2 and both ran together and i could open
them on a windows 10 pc in the browser. But no sound was to hear on either of the two. (Audio output was set to headjack) .
When i turned off one of the volumio`s the other one played the music.

It should work ok. Can you specify in detail exactly what you tried and how please?

thx to all for the help. I detected an error in the headjack connection (the cable was broken) . After soldering now everything is running perfect.
