OK, I’m a noob here. So I apologize in advance for the silliness of this question, but I could use some help.
I’m on a bbone black, w/ image 1.4beta. The bb boots up, ethernet light blinking, the screen comes
up and I can login as root.
But then what? ifconfig shows no assigned IP address. So, no way to start up the web gui.
Why hasn’t it assigned a DHCP address? What’s going on?
(The bb itself works fine w/ the usual debian images…)

Answering my own question: rebooting it twice got me an IP address…so, onto the next step.
