Running latest Volumio on an RPi2 and I have my NAS folder mounted. It’s been scanning for about 45 minutes and only discovered about 4 artists (out of 250). I am running on Wireless, but my router is in the same room.
Is there a way to increase the scan speed?

That’s good to know. I ended up running a temporary Cat5e line and my library was updated in a matter of seconds.
That would be very welcome. Please add some kind of indicator in the UI that shows that a scan is currently underway. As it is now, you press “Rescan” several times in frustration without getting some kind of visual feedback.
