RPI + Allo Kali Piano 2.1 ; failed to open audio output

Hi, I have a Raspberry Pi 3B with a an Allo Kali and the Piano 2.1 DAC I have selected the piano in the audio outputs, saved and restarted the Pi, but trying play audio track just gives : failed to open audio output error… I would be grateful for any help

Hi, what Power supply are you using? Allo one?

Which kind of file are you tring to play?
Could you please go to my music -> rescan and retry?

Yes, using the Allo power supply.

Files are ALAC on local USB SSD

Rescanned - same problem :frowning:

which Volumio version?
Newly flashed image, or OTA update?

Newly flashed image - uptodate version

Volumio can’t read ALAC as of now, we’re working on that

Not my day… having problems getting Max2play to work with this setup either… works fine with my just boom card :frowning:
