I have an RPI 4 with a HiFi Berry Digi Pro running volumio through an optical out into the receiver. When I try to play music via Audirvana, songs skip before they are played yet if I use a USB out of the RPI into a separate DAC and then into receiver via RCA analog the songs play fine. Any Suggestions?
That hat doesn’t work w/new Pi4 versions. If your Pi is new, that is probably the problem.
What are my options if I want a send a digital signal directly to the receiver?
You’re going to need different hardware, if your receiver doesn’t input USB directly.
