This is my first project with a Raspberry Pi as well as my first post, so I apologize if I do or say something incorrectly. I tried searching the forum for this issue, but the search function kept telling me there were no topics find.
I’m currently not able to get my display to turn on, and I’m not sure why. The display doesn’t even seem to be on whatsoever. I’m looking to run and operate Volumio from the Display screen. I’m sure I’m missing something so I’d appreciate the point in the right direction!
Current Hardware Set Up:
Raspberry Pi 3
PNY 64GB microSD
Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display
HiFiBerry AMP+
12 Volt 5 Amp Power Supply
Extra[Not Being Used]:
2.5A Micro USB Power Supply
Currently have the latest version of Volumio installed alongside two plugins from the browser plugin menu: Spotify and the Touch Screen PlugIn. I have also set the audio output to the HiFiBerry AMP+.
PS: I have seen some users ‘complain’ that their display always stays on. Is there a way to add a screensaver in a easy way? I have prior experience with any code or Raspberry Pi’s so this has been a huge leap for me on things to learn.
