Can anyone tell me if my Boss is active from this?
When I click the dropdown it looks like below, however if I select the “Boss DAC hifi [master]” option it jumps back to “Allo Boss” after the quick restart…
This (bug?) happens also with Hifiberry digi and some usb dacs. Your Boss should work fine though once clicked and saved.

As long as the Boss is selected in the lower dropdown, you Boss will be used. Volumio will select and I2S DAC over integrated sound.
So; if I2S is active (i.e. set to ON), integrated sound will not be used (unless of course you manually edit the config files).
