Restructure forum?

The current forum structure still loosely resembles the old forum structure and has quite a few categories and sub categorises.
Finding information is a bit of struggle, and a lot of users just end posting in the default Help category.

Current Structure

I’ve added some logical sectioning to increase legibility, this doesn’t current exist ofc.

Refactored setup

Discourse has an additional <tag> field that makes some things moot, but we could also simply the structure.

For example, combine Help and Support

├── Help and Support
    ├── Help => ../
├── MyVolumio
    ├── MyVolumio Help and Support => ../Help and Support/MyVolumio

To .Be.Continued –

Yep, I agree it could do with simplifying, and trimming down too … some sections are only posted to once in a blue moon.

What do (@admins, @moderators) l think of something along these lines?

Personally I think ‘Plugins’ are of such importance as to have their own section, or at least a sub-section under ‘Ecosystem’

agree!

Ah, I just added some labels are just for logical grouping, they won’t show up in the structure… The tree is the first level… Feel free to suggest what you all think works! :slight_smile:

Good idea to reorganise. MyVolumio falls under 2 headings, which might complicate. Maybe have its own top level section. Or call the one under Volumio Experience ‘MyVolumio Account’
