I am trying to setup my pi with volumio to function with wifi with a wi-pi dongle.
Setup is succesfull, IP adress is assigned but speed is 1Mb/s. Way to slow to stream anything but gleu 
This is due to the extreme number of ssid’s and interference from neighbouring networks.
The only way to get decent wireless connections is going to the 5GHz band.
Is there anybody who has experience with dual band wifi dongles and volumio?
I also see my wireless info changed to Volumio hotspot with an IP adress outside my DHCP range.
What does that mean?
