I meant to ask if there are any tricks (settings, codes, etc …) to improve the performance of Volumio installed on Raspberry.
you don’t need them. However there is a plugin to assign cores to volumio ( you need to tweak and test it). But I think Volumio already did a good job.

I have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ with a Schiit Modi 2 Uber DAC, It works very well, the only thing that I could not get to work was streaming to the Pi via Bluetooth, it drops the connection after a few seconds.
Update to latest version, it has been fixed
