When I re-scan library for the first time volumio crashes and I’m unable to ping, connect via SSH, or use the web gui. Should I just leave this thing to scan over night or is this an issue because my library is too big? I have 20684 songs in my library. Thanks!
i had the same problem when I did my first scan of my unsorted music directory (I’d copied all music tracks to my NAS from years of old hard drives and ended up with up to 10 copies of some albums).
In the end I set scan running and went to do something else for an hour, came back it was complete and not had the problem since, although I’ve gone from 25k tracks down to 10k and still sorting
