Yes, it is standart templates. Sound is absolutely clear, without any interruptions.
Sorry have no idea.
I have almost the same plugins loaded, but no issues with peppy.

does this display work well with peppymeter?

Hmmm, seems not to work in combination with Hifiberry.
If peppymeter is installed Hifiberry doesn’t initialize any more.
After deinstalltion of peppymeter works fine.
(I use Raspberry PI 3B+)
Does anyone have it running with Hifiberry.
Would be great to get a hint.

Sorry for my delayed answer.
After changing my settings regarding yours, Hifiberry works - thanx a lot.
But the Peppymeter Screensaver doesn’t start.
I set the screensaver timeout in touch display to 100 and No screensaver during playing to ON like it is suggested in PeppyMeter. The PeppyMeter settings I did like yours. (My HDMI screen has the same resultion as yours)
What tricky setting I have to adjust for that to make it working?
Reinstall Peppymeter as a plugin (post 7). Set the desired monitor resolution. It has to work.
P.S. I don’t have Hifiberry, I have Pi2aes
I deinstalled Peppymeter, rebooted raspi, installed Peppymeter again (Done! Plugin Successfully Installed), activated the plugin Peppymeter, rebooted raspi again.
Peppymeter doesn’t start.
Played with differen resultions of Peppymeter - no success.
My Peppymeter directory is /home/volumio/peppy_screensaver but I guess this is right, cause the plugin is shown and the different screens are configurable.

Ahhh, I have to copy the zip to /home/volumio/Install_peppy.
Okay I will change that after deinstalling Peppymeter.
I’ll also reinstall the touchscreen plugin, if the renaming not works
