What doesn’t start automatically? Peppymeter or the whole volumio?
Still image too big?
Add one more like this:
sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config
set: PermitRootLogin yes and reboot
userconfig.txt: ONLY this
disable_overscan=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1920 1080 60 3 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=2
In Peppymeter set: custom_4 (1920x1080)
Is the problem that volumio is to big or peppy meter or both.
Did you install it as the plugin from posting 7 of this topic?
Yes, I installed from the plugin without issues
A really fly setup
Very cool setup!
Do you run a stand-alone PeppyMeter on the left/right blocks? How do you send the VU Meter signal from the player to the left/right blocks?
Thanks!
I think the left and right boxes are “Advance Acoustics X-A220EVO”
So that’s a big compliment for the build Volumio case
Oops, the player box really looks very similar to those commercial boxes. Though costs much less I believe
Actually the PeppyMeter can send a VU Meter signal over a local network using the HTTP protocol. In a fast local network the lag is almost negligible. So, theoretically the same setup could be done using the PeppyMeter as a source on the player box and running stand-alone PeppyMeter application on other boxes. Each box would need a Pi and a local network connection.
Exactly, they are real analogue VU meters. The Amps are two Advance Acoustics X-A220EVO Monoblocks
@Aiello inspired me to make 2 skins (Adv X220Evo and Adv X220)
