Hi guys
I wondered if anyone can help me.
I have a raspberry pi model b with a Mediatek WIFI dongle attached.
When i logon to volumio using my wired ethernet connection, i then navigate to Network settings and enter
in my WIFI SSID and password and click save changes, it doesnt see my wifi dongle which is what my problem is?
Do i need to install any drivers to use the dongle??
I can see it its registered by the pi when i type sudo lsusb.
But i cant seem to get the pi to connect using the wifi dongle.
Any help would be much appreciated

It seems your adaptater is not supported natively. But you should make it work with some manipulation … have a look here : https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/rt2800usb
