Port to Omega2

I’m thinking about porting to the following platform: indiegogo.com/projects/omeg … -for-iot#/

I have an original Omega, but I imagine with the Omega2 and the SD card slot, at a minimum, using a USB DAC should work. Where should I start if I want to go this route (or is the attempt futile)?

I gave a look at the specs, and unfortunately Volumio won’t run on 500mhrtz and 64 MB of RAM…
