Hi, I’m having a problem with crackles and pops when starting songs and manually changing them. When you start new song, it actually sounds like short lag/stutter. I have read that the problem is well known and is connected to clock starting pcm stream that for some reason is not kept at all times. Would it be possible for Volumio to create plug-in or software update that would keep the stream by playing silence? Or maybe plug-in that starts song, but adds 1sec delay so the song beginning won’t stutter.
I really like the platform, but this problem has not been resolved already for couple years. Maybe it is not as common as I think it is?
