I’ve called GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Billing Support and had a very friendly talk. They confirmed in the call as also later on by Email “We verify, your account is not yet upgraded, with this in mind please know that no charges will be applied on your payment method on GCP behalf unless you upgrade your account.” So nothing happens until I do not click “activate” and after 90 days the free trial account expires automatically, which means it ends and not - that’s what I’ve been afraid of - that it will be upgraded to a paid account
But coming back to the issue:
I’m not clear how I can create a project within the Google Developer Console without creating an account, respectively how to pass the OAuth consent screen and add the scope “YouTube Data API v3 …/auth/youtube.readonly” without getting the notification “Because you’ve added a sensitive scope, your consent screen requires verification by Google before it’s published” ?
the scope will talk to volumio and google doesn’t like that but you can do what you like with your own things… it’s a security issue for google…and it’s read only to get the things from youtube…
it’s better to check if your plugin says access granted… then it will work…
perhaps this differs depending on the region, which for me is Germany. And here it is that it is said that the scope needs to be confirmed by Google (even so I have cancelled the free trial account) :-/
No, unfortunately not. Under Acount Access it’s always stated “Error obtaining code. Please make sure you have provided the correct Client ID and secret under API Settings (or use Default)!”
Hi dvo, can you select on the OAuth consent screen between external and internal for the user type? For me it’s that I only can select external and due to this it might be why for my project verification is required (?)
sure, but however, I remember that when I set it up the first time I could select between external and internal. Only now I do not have this choice anymore … (?)

you could remove it and build it again but with no return code it still does nothing…
btw the music is oke with the new dac if you don’t look at the titles and image …they don’t match…

I am following the instructions posted via video at: https://youtu.be/6HTVfD_E0Io and the documentation from this thread starting in may till now.
When I come to the section where you go into the installed plug in the volumio web portal, I select activate and go to the settings button. However, I am presented with a message of No configuration available.
Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve?
I can search and find things, it only didn’t played. However, now it also plays the music, but unfortunately each song only for a while (~3-5 minutes), then it switches to the next song or to radio. Really strange!
