Hi all of you,
I am running up my volumino-2 system and the audio section works wonderful.
My intention is to hook up a 2x16 LCD to show some useful infos needed to handle the system with an IR-remote.
On searching this forum as well as many other places I found countless loose ends and 50% solutions - wasted effort most of it.
My question: Is somebody already working or intending to make a plugin that supports the HD44780 infrastructure?
To do something for a structured communication for such projects I support this suggestion:
With volumio-2 in the field now for a few weeks it would be the right time for it. It will keep the focus on plugin solutions and avoid unwanted modifications of the volumio-2 code.
