I second that!
Sometimes, when returning to the volumio web interface after having listened to a playlist, I see a bunch of notifications queuing and clottering the right-hand part of the screen… then timing out and getting hidden.
Please think about providing some way of turning notifications off, e.g. [attention: suggestion! 
] an “on/off” slider somewhere in the “appearance” config submenu. I mean, not all of them are bad, but the playback state change notifications would not be missed by me.
