Due to the fact that it has been a while that I have been into anything RPi related and now have the need for a new little player for my workshop.
So, I decided to use my original build of Volumio found in the aubreykloppers blog (https://goo.gl/9A22Qe), but to my horror found the Adafruit libraries changed!
Well, I did revisit the instructions and fixed it here:
