Please forgive me ignorance but I don’t know how to set the RPI Compatibility switch to the ON position on the Piano 2.1 DAC. I cannot remove the orange cover to access the switch.
Is there some way that I cannot see?

From what I remember, the orange cover is a thin bit of sticky plastic film. If you lift the corner of it with a thin knife blade you should be able to pull it off.
