I’m sure this is going to highlight how little I understand about how volumio works but here goes anyway…

My pi zero isn’t behaving very well with volumio. Has volumio outgrown pi zero - or is my setup corrupt?
I am about to set up Volumio on Pi 4. Is it worth adding an old phat dac to it or will I get good as good audio out of the audio port on such a high power pi?
What do you reckon?

The PI HAT should still work on PI4, it could be it outperforms onboard PI4 audio, but also not…
It depend on the PI4 and on how good the old HAT DAC is…
So, try it out, your ears will tell…
