Hi guys,
i just tried this amplified DAC on PiZero/Pi2 using pHAT DAC i2c driver (Volumio 2.129) and it works …but the volume control is locked on 100 and of course the vu meter is off.
Any way to make it proper working?

Would make a great combo with GPIO-Buttons plugin to handle the included GPIO buttons right into Volumio Play/Pause/Volume/etc… using this pinout info to match GPIO input actions.

I don’t think that board has hardware volume control, so it is automatically locked to 100 on the volume.
To change it you need to use either a software volume mixer or a different audio output board
I guess volume buttons could trigger Volumio system actions to adjust volume: GPIO Buttons can do that easily I think…
(same for play/pause, etc)
…or phatbeat-node can greatly help to build a custom plugin.
