The guide for OS X states “sudo dd bs=1m if=[img_file_path] of=/dev/[sd_name]”.
The card is sucessfully written using VolumioBeta1.1PI.img, however, the Raspberry is unable to boot from it, the light remains red.
If I use PiFiller (ivanx.com/raspberrypi/), the Raspberry boots.
