Hi I have a Tascam DA-3000 recorder/dac that reads and writes PCM - WAV (16 and 24) and DSD/DSF formats in a wide variety of resolutions. I’d like to be able to use the Tascam as a DAC with my raspberry pi/ digi+pro / volumio set up. Step 1 seems to be a) is there a way to convert other formats (primarily Flac) in on the fly, like transcoding in volumio? (I’m not really sure where the reading of codec occurs)
2) I seem to have some discontinuity or dropping of bits when playing a wav file…is that a need for re-clocking or something like that?
any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks
