After yesterday’s update, thre music library on one of my devices is unavailable with a DB access denied error though the connection to the CIFS share is OK.
Any ideas?

Can you send a log and paste the output here please?
My other device is running fine though
Yes, seems like MPD is not running at all on this device.
I suggest a factory reset on this one (make sure you are at least with version 2.915
