Multiroom does not work anymore

After upgradeing to 3.198 multiroom does not work for me. I’m able to start it but on the remote end the music is full of sync errors. pops and clicks. Restart does not help.

Prerequisites

Volumio Information

Volumio Version:3.198

DAC: NAD USB

Debug Log

http://logs.volumio.org/volumio/7Kl8QXH.html

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start multiroom
  2. add another room
  3. listen

Additional Information

So you use a USB DAC?

Yes a NAD D3045 DAC/Amp

Can you connect via SSH and check which version of the PI4 you have, when you enter the following command:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

Is it (at the end):
Hardware : BCM2711
Revision : b03115
Serial : 1000000077cd598d
Model : Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5

Using a similar setup here:

  • D3045 (MCU: 2.11 BT: 0.23)
  • rPi4-8GB, rev:1.4 - DigiOne - D3045 (Coaxial) - V3.207 - eth0
  • rPi4-8GB, rev:1.4 - Pro-ject Pre Box S2 Digital - D3045 (Line-1) - V3.209 - eth0

I am only able to reproduce sound degradation if I stream Tidal MQA from V3.207 to V3.209. (But this is caused by a SW bug in the S2). If I do the same in the other direction V3.209 => V3.207 (Coaxial supports MQA), all source play without any interruptions. (NAS, Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify)
(using all the default settings in multiroom)

OK!
So about the hw on remote:
Hardware : BCM2711
Revision : c03112
Model : Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.2

Main:
Hardware : BCM2711
Revision : b03111
Model : Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1
It has a Khadas USB DAC
Both use wired Ethernet.
The source is from my NAS or internet Radio

It is working again!
The problem caused by igmp snooping in Ubiquiti Switch. At the same time, there was software upgrade as well and something failed regarding this feature. After I turned off IGMP snooping in the network in which Volumio players are, everything has been working again.
