FYI, there’s a bug in the Volumio firmware for the miniDSP SHD.
The “Volume Normalization” is active by default when loading new firmware…even though it indicates Off in the GUI.
A toggle On…Save…Off will fix the issue…until a new firmware version re-incorporates the problem.
Any users who are operating with newer versions than the factory default (1.015) have volume normalization active in their setup, unless fixed as I mention above.
