Is it possible in Volumio to search for metadata tags? One of the great things about MPD is how it organizes all the metadata tags into a database, which can be quickly searched. But as far as I can tell, Volumio only uses the directory structure for organization. I’d like to search for an artist, and see a list of that artist’s albums, and choose one. Is this possible, or is it a feature request? Seems very basic.
It’s not an actual feature. As a workaround you can use some good client (like MPDroid on android, or MPod on iPad/phone).
Those solutions looks even better than the web UI to me (personal preference of course 
)
I thought the great Web UI was the primary (only?) special feature touted by Volumio? Aside from that, it’s just MPD.
