I have an issue I’m hoping you can help with.
My router model can be a right pain sometimes and is prone to reset.
When this happens I can’t access volumio until I reset the box.
Does anyone know how I can get hold of a ‘is WiFi locked’ type script that polls WiFi and if not connected connects?

Well I thought the fix I tried in this post worked, but I don’t think it has.
I’ve had to restart the volumio box about 5 times in the past 24 hours.
Does anyone have a method of keeping a WiFi connection?
When I say reset, it means a mains cycle. I am unable to connect via the web app or ssh
I think my check WiFi script isn’t working as cron wasn’t working.
Looking at some older thread, it seemed to be an issue with orion_optimize.sh or some such file.
I can’t find that on my system. Could that be the cause?
I’ve restarted cron to see if that fixes the issue

Thanks for the link ,but I have that already installed 
I had a look on the router last night for any ideas. Thought it might have been the lease time, but it’s stopped working over night, with still over 14 hours of lease time left.
Restarted the router and added volumio to a reserve list to see if that makes a difference…
We’re working on it, modifying the default behaviour of the hotspot…
