Hey all,
I installed Volumio last night to check it out, installation was smooth and had playing music in 20mins or so through a USB DAC, however when browsing through the albums the artwork carousel freezes and lags like crazy, very annoying.
The problem is there no matter how I access VOLUMIO, tried HOTSPOT, ROUTER, my phone and a tablet with and without the official control app, even directly with HDMI on TV controlled with the mouse the problem remains, Volumio is installed in the SSD.
Hardware is an Intel NUC 33217 i3 with a Samsung 840 EVO SSD and 2x 4GB RAM, music files in Toshiba 2TB USB, previously this machine was running Windows 10 and Jriver without problem.
Any idea?

please. Also, what version of Volumio are you using, and it would be useful to include (x86) in the topic title.
Is it still creating the music database and album art cache?
Maybe have a look at it again after it’s been running overnight.
I left to go through the Indexing process when I plugged in the USB HDD for maybe a couple of hours or so, but I’ll try again after it’s been running overnight.
