Kernel Panic every time I connect to Volumio HotSpot with Raspberry Pi 3B+

Volumio Information

Volumio Version: 2.779
Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3B+ with WiFi dongle
DAC: None, only connected over HDMI

This is on a fresh install, I have never used Volumio before. I have already tried reflashing several times, redownloaded the image, used a more powerful USB PSU. Other distros work just fine.

Sadly I can’t provide you the logs in plaintext, but I took an image of what it printed on screen.
Please help… completely clueless about what I could do.

It is very weird… Have you tried to remove Tu WiFi dongle and boot?

Looks like the WiFi dongle is incompatible or something. I can access it over Ethernet. Ordered a different dongle now, hopefully it works with that. Thanks!

Is there anything I can do to help getting this potentially resolved for a future version?

You can test the beta of volumio using BUSTER to see if better (it should) :wink:
