Issues with upgrading to Volumio 3

I have similar issues:

1 I m using Allo digione wit a RBP and there is no sound coming out of it after the upgrade.
2 It shows my library as empty.
3 ripping CD function is not working.

Hi all,

I’ve upgraded to ver 3, all seems fairly good. No issues with Tidal connect etc.
Noticed one member said the SQ on ver 2 was better, not sure if it’s any different or if there is any evidence/scientific tests behind that claim.

Few oddities:

  • treatment of Various Artists albums, when search for an album (via albums, or music lib-USB) it displays every song however when play it only plays and treats it as one track. Not sure if there are some settings for this. I think if you navigate through the genre it works properly.
  • repeat or shuffle seemed to be on by default think it’s alright now
  • manual sliding of the scroll bar on rhs would be handy (and even displaying the first letter blown up)>
