IP via DHCP Issue

Hi,

I just set up Volumio 2 and wondered with which kind of “MAC-Address” or client-identifier Volumio on a Raspberry 2 is sending its DHCP packets (DHCP Disvocer, Request, …)?
Debugging on my router shows this output:

Apr 14 16:10:23.805: DHCPD: DHCPDISCOVER received from client ff65.7468.3000.0100.0120.839c.24b8.27eb.9d64.d6 on interface Vlan10.
Apr 14 16:10:25.806: DHCPD: DHCPDISCOVER received from client ff65.7468.3000.0100.0120.839c.24b8.27eb.9d64.d6 on interface Vlan10.
Apr 14 16:10:25.806: DHCPD: Sending DHCPOFFER to client ff65.7468.3000.0100.0120.839c.24b8.27eb.9d64.d6 (192.168.10.156).DHCPD: Setting only requested parameters

Does anybody see similar behaviour?
Why ther is such a long “hardware-address” - f65.7468.3000.0100.0120.839c.24b8.27eb.9d64.d6 ???

Thanks for your help!

So do you have a problem? Or just interested?

If you have a problem (something is not working) then please describe the problem and maybe someone can help. Example: ‘My Raspberry 2 running Volumio V2.123 cannot get an IP Address from my router ABC model 123’. If you are just interested to know then running something like wireshark might help.
