Hi everyone, I am planning to start using Volumio but I had a quick question. I was wondering if there is a way to have the music start automatically when the internet goes out and comes back. Planning to use Raspberry Pi.
Hmmm, I’m not home right now to experiment for you.
If you are playing local files from connected storage or network storage, an internet outage should not impact the music playing (although there have been issues in past versions).
But I can’t rmember if things like internet radio starts again when the internet returns from a dropout or outage. Hopefully some one can test for you.
Thanks for the reply. I’m sure local files shouldn’t be impacted but not sure about internet radio. I saw another post where someone mentioned watchdog but I have never worked with raspberry pi so I am not sure how that works.
