Hi,
does anybody know a good tutorial on how to correctly setup a samba server on Volumio?
I followed these instructions (elinux.org/R-Pi_NAS#Configure_a_ … Debian_RPi) but I am not able to setup a correct authentication.
As soon as I set security = user, I am not able to connect to the share. ( I have setup a samba password for user volumio.)
What do those parameters mean?
[i] security = shares
guest account = root
map to guest = bad user[/i]
And what is mark 0775?
directory mask = 0775
create mask = 0775
Can someone please post a “nice” smb.conf?
Does anyone have the smb.conf from raspbian system?
