I have RPi 3b+ with latest Volumio and GPIO buttons and nanomesher CD plugins.
Keep my music on NAS share (another RPi running Samba).
Internet radio and CD quality material strams just fine, but each time I try 192 kHz/24 bit there are frequent pauses during playback (every second or couple of sec).
I use I2S hifiBerry Digi + card which optputs Toslink to my Auralic Vega DAC.
Is there anything that can be done here? Some settings/buffer change?
I found it strange because I use the same WiFi network and NAS drive to stream 1080p movies to KODI player on other RPi. And that work flawless. So why would then music be a problem?
