As the title suggests, I’d like to use a 2nd Pi to read the MPD data from Volumio (preferably through the network) and then display it on a 20x4 display.
Why do this? I will admit to being slightly OCD… But the reason for this is using the Volumio Pi to control the LCD, there is increased audible noise than when the LCD is not connected. There is also a slight noise every time the backlight of the LCD switches on/off. I have tried simply powering the LCD Vdd, GND, Anode and Cathode from a separate supply, however this does not work. Ive tried connecting the two GNDs together as well and nothing.
