Just finished installing Volumio 2 in a RaspberryPi 3 (no extra modules) to be used exclusively in a USB -> External Dac (NuForce dda-100) scenario.
Extremely happy with the ease of setup, look, and overall response of the system.
Looking forward to learning more about bit-perfect scenarios, bit rate compatibility and resampling (my DACs USB supports only up to 96Khz), but very pleased with this minimalistic and headless approach to HiFi PC audio.
