I have been using Volumio for over a month now and what an amazing piece of software. Very easy to setup from the get go. It plays everything I throw at it.
My set up is:
Cubietruck output via spdif/tosslink
Yamaha HTR-5660 receiver
Paradigm Titan V1 speakers
Seagate external 1TB hardrive via usb
I either use the Volumio Web UI or Sound@home through my Kobo Arc or my HTC phone
